Hi Veronica,
Happy to hear that you got to Soule and found it interesting and exciting. I’m sure you will be back there to see more of the City. There is a park going up the mountain (a very small one) /that is interesting. It has a cable car going up and down the mountain. Sounds like you are having a great adventure. Your blog is very interesting. Do you have a copy of all the things that you have written?
Miss you. Love, Grandmother
Hi Veronica,
Your Mom shared your blog with me, I sent it to Katy so you might hear from her.
I really enjoy hearing about the culture and your life teaching in Korea. I especially enjoyed reading about your class field trip. The students acted just like my students act on a trip so it goes to show that kids are the same everywhere.
Would you be interested in having penpals in the US? If you are I can ask some of the upper grades in my school. We have classes from kindergarten (me) up to 6th grade.
Enjoy , enjoy and learn lots.
Wendy Walter
Hi Veronica! I accidentally found your blog while looking for some info about Yeoju. Looks like we live across the street from each other My husband, me and our 8 m.o. daughter came to Yeoju from US 4 weeks ago. We are in Booyoung Apts bld 101. We’ve met some other foreign teachers but not you yet.
Do you by chance know if there are any other stores besides E-Mart that have non-food items (like clothes and smaller furniture)? We need some stuff for our baby and E-mart doesn’t have a lot of choice and is kind of expensive.
